Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust a centre of excellence for clinical services, education and research with a history over 900 years. Our clinical services are delivered from two of London’s best known teaching hospitals, Guy's Hospital and St Thomas' Hospital.
The Department of Ageing and Health is a dynamic department at the centre of Acute Medical, Surgical and Specialist Patient Services. It has researched and developed many new service delivery models in Geriatric medicine, with a consultant led service delivering care 365 days a year. Our services include its own inpatient unit at St Thomas’ Hospital Older Persons’ Unit, participation in general internal medicine and input across multiple areas by our liaison teams including Perioperative Medicine for Older People, Oncology Older Adults Comprehensive and Geriatric Assessment Clinics.
We are able to support international partners through our GSTT Consulting offer. Using a collaborative approach tailored to your needs, we use our insight and experience to co-develop solutions across the full spectrum of elderly healthcare that will deliver a lasting impact. We can also provide ongoing support to help implement the proposed solutions as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
