UK-Singapore: Virtual Healthy Ageing Mission March 2021

University of Dundee

The University of Dundee is ranked amongst the top 20 Universities in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2021) and 11th among UK universities for overall student satisfaction in the 2020 National Student Survey. We are the University of the Year for student experience in The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020 and is ranked top 10 globally by international students. The School of Health Sciences is one of ten Schools in the University and in the recent National Student Survey, the School was ranked number 1 for child and mental health nurse education. The objective for this mission is to showcase our expertise within the field of Healthy Ageing.

As a School we understand that globally, people are living longer than ever before. However, this does not always equate to living healthier. It is therefore crucial that the potential risks of living with frailty are widely known and understood so that appropriate measures can be taken to help people stay physically and mentally well. The School of Health Sciences currently have several faculty members with vast clinical, teaching, learning and research expertise within this field. Additionally, we also have significant expertise in curriculum development, programme development, and CPD development both at national and international level. This allows the development and delivery of appropriate and relevant teaching and learning material which is evidence-based and meets the specific needs of the intended audiences.
